Content changes

Yes. On the Starter package we build your one-page website at no charge. You pay only the monthly fee and your domain. One free website per business.

Who owns the domain?
You do. It is registered in your name and stays yours if you leave.
I already have a website or domain. Can I move it to you?
Yes. We handle the transfer, including your email.
What does maintenance cover?
WordPress, theme and plugin updates, security updates, backups, your SSL certificate, and fixing the site if an update breaks something.
Can I change my website after it is live?
One small content update a month, up to 30 minutes, is included on Starter. Larger changes are charged at R450 an hour in 15-minute blocks.
What if I need more than one page, or an online shop?
Choose Business or Pro. The monthly fee covers hosting and maintenance, and we quote the website build separately.
Is there a contract? What happens if I cancel?
No contract. Cancel any time and your service runs to the end of the month you have paid for. Your domain stays yours, and we give you a backup of your website on request.
I paid for a year and want to leave early. Do I get a refund?
Yes. We refund what you paid, less the months you used at the normal monthly rate.
Do you charge VAT?
No. Darkblue is not a VAT vendor, so the price you see is the price you pay.
How long until my website is live?

How do I pay?
Your first month is payable when you approve the preview. After that you get a monthly invoice, payable by EFT.
